The Summers - A farce or a reality & the fun....

Me being in Delhi and raising such doubts about 'summers' might raise questions from those new to this term.
'Summers' here is basically an internship required to be completed as a part of MBA course.
It is supposed to expose students to the real world of business.

Reality: Summers is
- A cheap source of good labour.
- Labour which wants to get exploited by excess work.
- Labour which shows more enthusiasm than employeed workforce.
Some never shown characteristics by regular workforce....

Yet - Some dont get work, some loads of work(clerical only), some get good work, some loads of good work....
A complete horizon....

With me towards the fag end of summers, do I feel that it served the purpose???
I would say, gain from summers would be the same for experienced guys and freshers.... unlike many who say its mainly for freshers.....
For freshers it a first initiation... best part is its the cheapest way to explore the business world.. without many things at stake.... and if at all they are at stake.. people expect u to make mistake.....
For oldies...... Welcome back!!! Helps u to get ur ego back in order :P

If u had no work : U learnt how to show that u did work.... and how to kill time within the confines of the hostel room
If u had loads of work: (clerical job) - Shows u the realities.... teaches u how to handle the situation....
If u had good work - Lucky u!!!! U learnt application.... But then thats it!!!..... Dont go overboard.....
If u had loads of good work - U learnt organizing in addition to application.....

This was THE GENERAL GYAN :D :D :D .....
Now lets see from my eyes......

Some funny moments:

When I set out for my summers.... some of my colleagues (yes in corporate jargon.... basically mere dost) ... told me that there will be good girls(as per some news)..... and hence loads of fun !!!!
What we finally had..... Gang of Boys.... :D ... with no female interns :( ....
But it yet again proved my point ..... :D
Fun is more widout girls :P
But yes I missed one part of training ;) .... flirting wid girls :P

When I set out for summers.... I had heard about a character from the other section (of my institute).....
Met that character...
Believe me.... Masti aa gayi .....
'There is a ............ in college'....
'Nayan tu toh aaj ......... ka turnover........'
such statements when there is pin drop silence, birthday parties are on...... take the fun element to a new level.....
Lotus temple..... Nehru place.... sant nagar ki galiyan.... these are some of the places.... where we all 4 of us gave best of the items......  and had loads of NSP.....

When I set out for summers... I never expected that... a reading of 15 mins can be used to make 6 presentations... kill 2 days.... and make 4 people busy :D
But finally I realised that what we talked .... what we presented made sense... it might just sheer luck or our intellect ;) ... that we could manage it in few mins.....
and.... again today.... we repeated history :D....

During one of our breaks... we visited Mochas.... I felt out of place there.....
Re-established my opinion.... BASICS ARE BASICS... THEY NEVER CHANGE....
Unless u want them to change :D
Also some other incidences with person from the other section... reemphasized the fact.....

Every human being has a limit....... CAR guy  proved it.. :D (someone from other section... who loves cars... so much that he can ditch his wife from them..... )
Me, vishnu, kutty were about to get killed... !!!!!
But, now its fun .... to make more fun of him .... on the same point :D :D
Yet another item from this CAR guy ....
Sunday night... 8 PM.... this guy comes to ma room & asks... 'yaar college computer lab khuli hogi... questionaire printout lena hain... phir CNG station jaunga'....... Me shocked..... not a position to even laugh..... He replied in one line...'yaar dopahar se jaa rahan hoon... bass thoda late ho gaya'.....

Love between two roomies... :D .... but they fight over stupid pen drive :D ......

One guy....who drives bike @ 70 KMPH..... says... 'yaar double seat chalaneko dar lagta hain'...

Room allotments.... kitne door kitne pass.....

Driving 9 kms on bike..... with a bursted petrol tank :D ......

Depositing cheque of internship ... and informing my parents......brother.... again reminding them when it got encashed...... finally my bro said... 'abey itna khush toh tu _________ ke paise milte the tab bhi nahi huan' (referring to my previous job)........'teri pehli salary pe bhi tune ghar pe phone nahi kiya tha :D '...
Kya kare...... tab paison ki aadat padi nahi thi... MBA mein woh chodni padi..... phir bade dino baad khud ke paise dekhe.... toh honga na :D .......

These are some of my sweet memories....... of HOT Summer......

मी आणी ती

This is my first poem in Marathi.. rather to be precise ... my first poem ever :D ... So set your expectations accordingly....

If you didnt like this poem, dont worry I rarely take this kind of risk.
And if you liked the poem, the real fun lies in rarity.... :D

- Nalayak Porga

(English translation : Meaningwise... rhyme etc is not taken care of

I was sitting in class
She was also sitting in class...

My eyes were searching her
But her eyes were scanning board...

I fell in love with her
She fell in love with everyone...

I want her to be mine only
She wants to be everyone's

I started struggling to get her
She also started becoming close to me...

We started having good rapo
Also she started having good rapo with others...

Overtime I learnt
"Whoever works hard.. will get 'Saraswati' "

Hello World - A few details

(Note: Please read my first post before reading this, else do not read this post)

Now that I am done with my first post already, I would like to touch upon some of the points of first posts.

If you ask me best thing about that post, it was first post & it helped me get the feedback :D. And if you were expecting this is the answer, sorry, thats what it was all about. Its best part was most of those who read (plz note 'those who read' coz it was not a big number. But statistics help in misguiding ;) ) felt I followed Part B. May be, may be not. Here I am goin to touch upon few points of the first post.

1. Basics are basics. They never change : Simplest example for this would be Sachin Tendulkar. Modesty was part of his basics & continue to be his guiding principle even today. If you want a close to your life example, just examine how some of your friends who were no one & have now done great. I can challenge you these guys will be the same person as friends as they were earlier. If not, you never understood them right.

Hahaha, again a big bluff :D ?  Fact is - change is the only reality of life. Just recall how many of your friends, relatives have changed over period. If you have been successful you have got more friends & relatives. Why? Coz basics are never same. The people who joined you after your success belong to this category. Or is it that their principle is to keep changing the basics????

2. Pyar & its 3 stages : (Here I will present my  view :D. Its a view of inexperienced person in this field. So mistakes if any, can be ignored :D )

a. Stage 1: Both of them will be bluffing and will hence will be happy about their partners. Seeds for most failures of LM lie in this very stage. The more you fake here, faster you will be in getting initial success and  faster you would be in reaching stage 3.

Why not follow the reverse formula? Lets show our negatives & let people understand the positives in you? Noooooooooo way. Whoever does this will be violating the basic principles of attracting customers. But , but, are we looking for life partners or customers?

b. Stage 2: This stage is best explained by a simple word 'disillusionment'. For how many days can you hide the realities, some days they have to come out. This is precisely what stage is all about. Your partner unravels realities about you & vice versa.

c. Stage 3: This stage is best described by 'review'. By this stage, you know what you wanted & what you got. Same is true about your partner.

So how does it really happen? The workflow(my first company colleagues would love this word) is all in your hand. If you fake more, you are sure to go through to stage 2. Now if you recover well in stage 2, fair enough. Else its stage 3 . Here again you have a chance to salvage else, boom. For those who never faked, will never see stage 2 & stage 3. But then wats the fun in it? Fools, you get no fun in flowing through stages. Its a painful flow

(This is based on my imaginative skills without any prior experience)

3. Reality I hate to accept:We are still male dominated. God knows when we will become equal. Worst part is most females are happy to accept this rather than taking it as a challenge.(Part A)

Vs

Bhai male dominated kyun na hoon. It has been proved time & again. If females have it, please come forward and prove ki you are better. Period.(Part B)

(In this case I dont agree with Part B)

Whatever way it may be in either case, why shouldnt girls/females take it as a challenge & turn the things. In my life, I have seen some people doing it. And have been always proud of them. At the same time I have seen few who have made use of their gender to run away from responsibilities. Why??

Its for you to decide the path, but I can assure you that you can challenge the world & prove that girls/females are no less.

I know, by now you must be feeling, bass ho gaye fundae tere :D. Hope this post was atleast equal in quality to previous post (better even I am not expecting :D )

My Next Post : Not related to hello world, a new beginning & may be this is gonna be the last post. No one knows. Only time will tell :D. Will I ever again get a feel to write blog?

Hello World !!

Hello World : Clearly indicates the background I am from & also why what you read is gonna be a big piece of shit :) .
Side A- (Do you recall something by this naming standard :) )
Some philosophies:
1. Basics are basics. They never change.
2. Friendship – Something which grows stronger with time if rules are followed & after breakeven grows even stronger if rules are broken.
3. Pyar(GF-BF) & its 3 stages (Restricting pyar to only BF-GF types of relationship in this)
4. Everything is a game. So enjoy it.
5. Strength of wolf lies in hunting in packs. Pack is important. (It is during my PG that I learnt importance of this. Subjects can be dedicated to this point).
6. Do whatever you want to do. Don’t give others a damn.
7. Reality which I hate to accept: We are still male dominated. God knows when we will become equal. Worst part is most females are happy to accept this rather than taking it as a challenge.

If you thought this is what I believe … he he…. Sorry I was just “trying” to sound good. :D. (Wanted some good start to my blog :) ) And I could feel the pressure when I was jotting down these points.

Side B- (Atleast aab toh kuch yaad aa gaya hoga purane zamane ka ) (Audio Cassette)
1. There is nothing called basic. As long as money is there, fame is there. Money can change everything & that is what matters.
2. Friendship … :) .. People say great things about friendship… it redefines your life. .. you learn to live …. Blah … blah .. abey end of the day … the “self-interest” will come out … keep these fundas away…
3. Pyar :D :D :D . Ek bomb joh kabhi bhi phut sakta hain… :)
4. Life is cruel. Dusron ko dabaoge tabhi aage jaoge…
5. Pack wack kuch nahi hota. If you have money you have people around you. So strength lies in money.
6. Image is the crux. Maintain it. Give it lot of importance. :D
7. Bhai male dominated kyun na hoon. It has been proved time & again. If females have it, please come forward and prove ki you are better. Period.

Now that I have almost finished writing this post, I realize - To be philosophical or good is difficult. Its much simpler to be mean & insult others. I have always been in groups who specialize in doing these things. Whether we do or don’t do anything.. who cares. As long as others try to do something we will ridicule them :D .
(This is my first post. Will be surely touching on some of these aspects in my future articles .. if they come :) . Or this might become my first & last post :D )
(If I have bored you with this blog, please do not come to this blog again. My standard isn’t going to improve :) )
